Refund policy

✅ AakarShine — Return & Refund Policy

At AakarShine we want you to love your jewellery. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’ll do our best to make it right.

1. Returns — Timeframe & Eligibility

  • You may return most items within 7 days of delivery for a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided the item is unused, unworn, and in original condition — with the original box, tags, authenticity certificate (if provided) and invoice. We may refuse returns that show signs of wear, perfume/makeup residue, or missing packaging.

2. Items not eligible for return

  • Personalised / engraved / customised jewellery and final-sale items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective. (If an exception applies, we’ll clearly note it on the product page.)

3. Damaged / Defective Items (what to do)

  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery with clear photos or a short video showing the issue and the package. We’ll review the evidence and guide you through a prepaid return or replacement where applicable. Timely photos/videos help us process claims faster.

4. How to initiate a return or exchange

  1. Email us at info.aakarshine@gmail.com or DM @aakarshine on Instagram with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).

  2. Our team will respond with a Return Authorization (RA) and step-by-step return instructions.

  3. Ship the item back in its original packaging with the RA number clearly written. We recommend using a tracked and insured courier.

(Do not ship items back without RA — unauthorized returns may be rejected.)

5. Return shipping & charges

  • For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. For confirmed damaged/defective returns, AakarShine will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs after inspection. International return fees may vary.

6. Refund processing & timing

  • After we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 3–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (processing times may depend on your bank). We’ll notify you by email once the refund is complete. 

7. Exchanges & Size Changes

  • Size exchanges (rings/bracelets) are usually processed as an exchange and may be shipped once the returned item passes inspection. If the requested size is unavailable, we’ll offer a refund or store credit.

8. Partial refunds & deductions

  • Items returned without original packaging, missing accessories, or showing clear wear may be subject to a partial refund or may be refused at inspection. Any such deductions will be explained in writing.

9. International returns

  • International returns may take longer and could incur customs or courier fees. If you are shipping from outside India, contact us first so we can share the best return option and help limit extra costs.
